“My drinking was OUT OF CONTROL. I joined the Zoom group, met amazing women and found that I learned more from Michelle than from any therapist I had ever seen. I often share my experience with others encouraging my Sober Ready and Sober Curious friends to check out the podcasts and join Michelle’s group. A new journey can begin with Set Free Sisterhood…no judgement, deep dive into why, forgiveness and support.”
“Connecting with Michelle & then joining her group sessions to be with other Christian women, experiencing similar situations & challenges in life, has been and continues to be a place that is safe, non judgemental in encouraging each other in growing closer to God and to live as the person we were created to be.”
“I was struggling with drinking several nights a week and the shame that came with feeling like I lacked willpower. The Collective helped me see that I wasn’t alone and gave me a safe place to be honest about what I was experiencing. Over six weeks, I learned how to sit with my urges, understand what was driving them, and begin healing the deeper wounds behind my drinking. Today, I know I can be content without wine, I like who I am more, my faith has grown stronger, and I am no longer carrying the same shame.”
"I have now participated in two Sisterhood support group sessions, and wow, what a difference it has made. My drinking has greatly reduced in the past 11 months. I was able to go on a tropical vacation and stay sober, which I never could have imagined before this. Michelle and the women in the group are wonderful — kind and non-judgmental. Michelle helped me to look deeper into the why behind my drinking. I was able to stop and really feel and think about my emotions."
I’m not here to teach you how to be “good” around alcohol. I’m here to help you understand yourself.
I’m Michelle Porterfield, host of the Set Free Sisterhood Podcast and a faith-based transformational coach who helps Christian women stop overdrinking and create lives they don’t need to escape from.
I’ve been alcohol-free for eight years.
And what I’ve learned is that getting rid of alcohol was only the beginning.
The real freedom came from learning how to feel, heal, set boundaries, trust myself, strengthen my faith, and create a life I actually wanted to be present for.
That’s the work we do inside the Collective.
